Introduction

We warmly invite you to use our website as a window through which to view our wonderful, distinctive primary school of Saint Bernadette, where the Catholic ethos is evident and open to be experienced by all who enter.

Governors, staff, parents and children work together in partnership to meet the challenges and opportunities of our mission to:

Learn to grow in knowledge, faith and love through friendship with Jesus and Mary.

We hope that you will see in our school a place where every child matters and a community that celebrates each individual’s contribution. You are invited to visit our school and see how our mission is manifested by our community.

Pupil Voice - What do our children say about our school?

In our schools, I find that lessons are both challenging and stimulating at the same time.

In St. Bernadette, the children are blessed to have such privileges.

Our school makes sure we follow the Catholic Social Teaching themes which are Human dignity, community and participation, care for creation, dignity in work, peace and Solidarity.

All Saints Catholic Academy Trust (ASCAT)

Formed in 2016, as part of the Diocese of Westminster's Academy Strategy, we provide a collaborative structure of school support and innovation for Catholic schools in South West Hertfordshire. Our vision of an 'Outstanding Education for All' comes from this desire to enable all members of school communities to flourish and succeed and to do all that we can to make our schools places where ambition for all is at the heart of everything that we do.
