Design and Technology club
The very first DT club has now started at St Bernadette School, taught by Miss Weston every Friday lunch time in KS2.
The activities are designed to engage students in practical problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity, fostering a deeper understanding of STEM disciplines.
STEM activities often involve real-world applications, allowing students to explore and apply theoretical concepts in a practical and meaningful manner.
The planned activities included: textiles and materials, structural engineering and designing and making electrical systems. Below you will find images of some of the work undertaken.
